Heidi and David's wedding
Well, Saturday was the BIG day...
Heidi finally got her David, and it was a beautiful day. The ceremony was in Borgund Church, which is an old stone church, and it was beautiful. The bride looked stunning walking down the isle with her dad, my uncle Per (and now Adrian's good friend..).

The weather was perfect, it was raining in the morning, but as the ceremony finished, the sun was shining and it was about 20 degrees.

The reception was held at Brusdalsheimen, which is a beautiful place next to the water. It was a great day, but challenging as it was danish and norwegian, as well as 10 other nations represented in the wedding. A lot of interpreting, but this was a challenge when I struggled to understand some of the danish. We still had a great time, and David and Heidi enjoyed.
Adrian experienced a wedding quite different than the Australian version. The reception finished about midnight, after having a 3 course meal, followed by a cake table containing about 30 cakes and various desserts. There is nothing like a Ålesunds cake table.

After various entertainment and fun, we sent the couple off by singing and all the guests making a pathway to their car holding sparklers. It was beautiful....
Now Heidi and David is married, and the next couple will probably be Malin and Marius.... They are preparing for a wedding next year....
