A New Season

Well, it is New Years Eve, and I have been in Norway close to a week. It still feels a bit unreal that I now have made the move, and that i am back in Ålesund and will be staying here. Just the other night I was thinking about which movies they were going to show on my flight back to Sydney, when I realized that I am staying.. it was a weird feeling...

Adrian is still in Sydney, which is definately a challenge. We havent been away from each other for 2 weeks since we spent 2 months apart during Christmas last year, and now being engaged and getting ready to get married, I can't say that I like it, but still know that it has been good for both of us to have great time with family..

I spent about 3 weeks on the coast with Adrians family before I left, and we had such a great time. The Westbrooks are awesome, and they have welcomed me into the family with open arms... Mama Sue and I shared the joys of shopping (and spending money.... next year I will be on a tighter budget this time of the year as I am then not "on my own" anymore... sigh...), and we all had great meals and quality time together..

It was sad leaving and saying good bye to the ones I love, but at the same time both Adrian and I know that this is the right move, and that the season ahead are to be in Ålesund. We are continuing to see Gods favour upon our lives, and He is SO faithful. He has prepared everything, and we are blessed beyond measure...

Hopefully I will manage to update the blog as we go... WE have a full season ahead, where I start full time work this coming week. I am back where I worked previous to going to Hillsong, and I am SO pumped about that..Adrian will be starting norwegian classes pretty much as soon as he arrives, we have a house to set up, a wedding to plan, and obviously lots to get into at church and especially within the Worship and Creative Arts area. Adrian will be working part time with this, and we are really excited about this oportunity to serve the Kingdom.

We pray the very best for each and everyone of you!
May this new year be a year of love and blessing where we all get to know our Lord and Saviour, the reason for living, more and more...

Love you and believe in you!

HAPPY NEW YEAR!! Godt Nyttår!!!!

Saying Goodbye...

I cannot believe it is less than 2 weeks till I am getting on the airplane and going home.. It is weird.. At the moment I have moved up to the Central Coast, and have the past week been living with Adrians family. We are staying here till we go to Norway, and it has been great having lots of fun with Adrians parents and siblings.. they are cool.. KAtie came with us for a few days before she left to go home to US for Christmas...and that was awesome, but it was not fun to say goodbye to her. SHe has been my housemate the past two years, and was one of the first people I met in Australia. We connected right away and have been best friends since. We have shared pretty much everything the past three years, and it was really weird to say goodbye, knowing that after christmas this time, I am not getting on the plane and going back to Australia again.. hmm.. i still dont think i have realized it yet...

Adrian is working a lot. He is amazing!! I have only been to the beach twice, and being with people (read Katie and Adrian) that doesnt love staying at the beach for hours and hours.. my tan is not coming along as fast as I planned.. oh well.. all good... today it has been stormy and really cold, so we stayed inside all day, exept from a few hours at the mall with Megan... really hope we get some good sunny days soon!!

Ill try to post some photos soon from Graduation and stuff from the past few weeks...
Trust everyone is doing great!
Love you all, and I am really excited about coming home soon!!!!

Engagement Party 2

FINALLY an update as there has been several big things happening the past few weeks... In the middle of finishing college, graduation dinner and ceremony and all kinds of other things, Adrian and i took time to put on our second engagementparty. November 20 we invited lots of friends and family and about 80 people came to spend a few hours with us. It was a really great night with lots of candles, lots of roses, yummy fingerfood, good drinks (Adrian made the best punch ever, this will definately be his responsibility when we are married...) and live entertainment. I think People enjoyed themselves and so did we, though it was a really hectic few weeks beforehand...
